What a fantastic August!
We have had a great August at Martin Mere comfortably meeting all of our targets and everyone seems to have really enjoyed their visit. The play area has been so popular, although sometimes overcrowded as so many families are using the facility - but we have had so many positive comments and it has been great to chat to visitors.
Obviously, the summer holidays haven't quite finished and we still have 3 days left for the roundhouse village experience before we start pond dipping again at the weekend. All the staff and volunteers at the village have been great as they have been up there working hard in all weather conditions. There is a picture of the team below.
Membership has also been doing great in August as visitors see the value of coming back time and time again as we always try to put on new experiences. We couldn't have asked for better really and I am really pleased that all the new developments over the last 18 months has ensured that our visitors have had a great experience and wanting to visit us.
