Animal Magic success at Martin Mere
Almost 5000 people enjoyed the Animal Magic event at the weekend, enjoying the sunshine on Saturday. There were skunks, meerkats, grehounds, reptiles, sheep, donkeys, birds of prey, alpacas, bees and plenty of activities happening for everyone to enjoy their day.
Animal Magic for us, is the end of the summer season as we now move onto the geese and swans for the autumn and winter and focus on the migration. We currently have 7 whooper swans on site and 11,000 pink-footed geese and we are expecting numbers to increase this week as our sources say that there has been heavy rain fall in Iceland.
