Food for birds and people during Arundel Food Festival with WWT

Learn to make Birdie Bites or enjoy a Sussex feast with WWT Arundel Wetlands Centre during the Arundel  Food Festival this October.

WWT Arundel staff demonstrates how to make seasonal food for the birds at their stall on the Town Quay in Arundel. Learn some simple recipes to make a dream dining table for the birds in your garden at this event during Arundel Food Festival’s Activity Day Sunday 21 Oct in Arundel town centre. The WWT will offer advice on how to maximize your garden for birds in winter, what not to give birds from your cupboards and demonstrate feeders.

The viewing gallery in Arundel Wetland Centre’s has been chosen as the site for the Arundel Food festival’s final dinner. The five course meal prepared by local chefs Alan Maynard of the White Hart, Craig Baldwin of Arundel House Brasserie and Sam Walker of the Waterside Bistro. The menu features local Sussex ingredients and Sussex wines & cheeses. The meal is £55. Advanced booking is essential, call 01903 882288.
