Kilmood Art Club’s Annual Exhibition at Castle Espie Wetland Centre

Castle Espie Gallery, nature through art, will be opening the doors on Saturday 13th October at 10am to the Annual Exhibition of Kilmood Art Club. This is a major club event each year, and the exhibition comprises of approximately 80 paintings by club members, both professional and gifted amateurs.

This is the 24th year that the exhibition has been held, and the Millennium Trophy, for best painting in the show, will be awarded by Grahame Booth during the launch. The Innisbeg Trophy will also be awarded for the most popular painting in the show, as voted on by visitors to the exhibition.

David Medhurst, the Chairman of Kilmood Art Club highlighted “The Annual Exhibition is the high point of a year’s artistic activity and an opportunity to show the high level of professionalism that our members achieve. It is also an opportunity for members of the public to buy superb original works of art at realistic prices!”

The Castle Espie Gallery is open seven days a week from 10:00am daily. The Annual Kilmood Exhibition will run from 13 October 2012 to Sunday 4 November 2012.
