11.30am and 2.30pm: Otter talk and feed
See our new family of Asian short-clawed otters as they enjoy their feed
12pm - 2pm: Visit Wizzy the beaver
Wizzy will be out exercising everyday in a specially made enclosure by the duckling nursery
3pm and 3.30pm: Swan feeds
At 3pm watch and hear the swans fees from the Swan Link hide. At 3.30pm watch a further feed from the comfort of a heated observatory (Raines) and listen to a wardens talk to learn about the swan migration
There are additional talks and walks everyday. Please refer to the what's on board for details of times
Special offer every Tuesday (during term time)
Get a free mug of tea or americano coffee with every piece of home-made cake bought after 2.30pm. This offer is for people over the age of 60.
Toddler Thursdays (during term time)
Bring your toddler along to Martin Mere every Thursday during term time, get a free small bag of bird food and they can take part in the following activities:
Story telling at 1.30pm
Badge making and toys to play with from 1.30pm
Take part in the special toddler trail by the building
The free craft room will be open to do drawing and colouring
These days are specifically designed for parents, carers and child minders. If you are interested in bringing a nursery group to a Toddler Thursday, you will need to call the education department on 01704 891113 to book as a small charge will apply per child.
