Darwin Intiative

The Darwin Initiative is a UK government grants scheme that helps conserve biodiversity and support the communities that live alongside it through locally led projects worldwide.

The Darwin Initiative has partnered with WWT and supported our international conservation work for over two decades.

Most recently, WWT have been awarded a grant to support the community-based conservation of Lake Tseny and build wetland resilience in Madagascar.
