Afternoon All! We are hoping with the more settled weather this afternoon we may see the Osprey again, last seen yesterday morning over the reserve.
Sighting so far today include; Water voles, Kingfisher, Little Egret, Green woodpecker, Dunnock, Nuthatch, Wren, Goldfinch, Cettis & Reed warbler, Blackcap, Bullfinch, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Blackbird, Robin, Blue/ Great/ Coal/ Long-tailed tit, Jay, Magpie, Crow, Rook, Black headed & Herring gulls, Buzzard, Mallard, Mandarin duck, Coot, Moorhen, Tufted duck, Woodpigeon & Collared dove. Common Darter & Red admiral butterflies.
From the RAMSAR & SANDMARTIN HIDES; Teal, Gadwall, Mute swans, Greylag & Canada geese, House Martins, Swallows & Sand Martins.
From the SCRAPE HIDE; Shoveler, Swallows, Teal & Grey Heron.
