22 species of wader today
The very high tide pushed all the small waders off the saltmarsh shelf where they moved to the Top New Piece. The larger, longer legged waders roosted up on the Dumbles on the edge or fed in the grassland areas and pools. A flock of 17 terns either Arctic or Common flew over the car park and headed SW at 0800.
