Its only nine days until WWT Martin Mere celebrates its 40th Anniversary.
Todays Fun Fact of the day is: WWT Martin Mere won a UFAW award in the 80s for innovative conservation breeding methods when we introduced car mats into our rearing techniques for ducklings. The car mats meant that the ducklings could paddle in water whilst their faeces dropped into the car mat diverts.
