All of the hides are open! Walking boots or good shoes are recommended as the footpaths still have a little bit of mud on them. There are a few puddles at the sides of the footpaths, if you would like to bring your wellies and go for a splash! Good practice for our puddle jumping championships in February half term - http://www.wwt.org.uk/wetland-centres/welney/whats-on/2016/02/13/puddle-jumping-championships/
The Welney Wash Road section of the A1101 is now open; diversions are not needed to be followed at present.
Lady Fen is looking great a few whooper swans, shelduck and coot on the water also lots of lapwing feeding on the wet mud. But the best sighting is a great white egret feeding in the ditches! great views from the café and shop. We have a telescope set up at the shop.
