Sunny Saturday Sightings

One of two Bitterns on view from the Van Der Bovenkamp hide this morning.

 

A very sunny start to the day giving great views of the birds from the hides:

Van De Bovenkamp Hide

Bittern- One showing very well  for prolonged periods of time in front of the reeds and another close to the Kingfisher hide.
Little stint- One at 9:00 but relocated to the Rushy at 11:00

Bittern- The second individual was seen inflight around 9:30am
White fronted goose- 149 feeding in the left hand field.
