Art workshops set to get creative juices flowing this autumn
A series of wetland-themed workshops are being held this autumn at Washington Wetland Centre by the incredibly talented Amy Brooks, AKA Mrs BArts.
Come and join us for some creative fun, perfect for those with art experience or those new to art, everyone is welcome!
There are three workshops available to book, two in November and a special festive workshop in December. Aimed at adults and children aged 14+, while the second welcomes children aged 6-13 years old.
Art workshop
Sunday 13 November | 10.30am - 12.30pm | adults and children aged 14+ | £26.50pp
Join us for this special 2-hour art workshop where you'll create an A4 stunning curlew watercolour painting finished with gold leaf detail.
Children's workshop
Sunday 13 November | 1.30pm - 2.30pm | children aged 6-13 years | £15pp
This special 1-hour art workshop specially designed for children, will see them learn how to create a bright and colourful A4 curlew watercolour painting.
Festive robin workshop
Wednesday 7 December | 10.30am - 12.30pm | Adults only | £26.50pp
This special festive-themed art workshop, will see you create a beautiful robin and finish with a gold leaf dusting.
All equipment will be provided for you on the day so all you'll need is the enthusiasm to learn a new skill or brush up on your existing creativity! No previous experience neccessary - all are welcome to join in!
