Two Garganey resting on the shore of top pond island as well as (later in the morning) 4 Spotted Redshank, 6 Snipe, 2 Ruff, 70+ Black-tailed Godwits and 6 Redshanks.

Ross's Goose with Snow x Bar-headed, two Canada x Barnacle among the Barnacle Geese.

Knott Hide

Eight Blackcap, Bullfinch in the hedge as well as juvenile Water Rail in the reed fringe

Kingfisher Hide

Gadwall flock and Grey Heron.

Wild Safari (morning)

Grey Partridge, 2 Great Egret, 9 Roe Deer, Crane family with juvenile and another pair, 2 Marsh Harrier, Hobby, 3 Grass Snake, migrating Swallow flock.

South Lake

A juvenile Little-ringed Plover, 17 Ruff, 2 Green Sandpiper, 150 Lapwing, 200+ Black-tailed Godwit, 11 Redshank, Spotted Redshank, Snipe, 2 Pochard, 143 Teal, 9 Cormorant, 280 Greylag plus Grey Heron, Tufted Ducks, Gadwall and Shoveler.

Middle Point

Two Great and 15 Little Egrets, 16 Grey Heron, Greenshank heard, 260 small waders, immature Peregrine, 142 Shelduck, adult Mediterranean Gull, c50 Curlew, Yellow Wagtail over.

Tack Piece

Spoonbill, 3 Spotted Redshank (early morning), 4 Redshank, 4 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Snipe, Yellow Wagtail with Pied Wagtails, 28 Teal, 10 Shoveler and Kingfisher

Juvenile Wood Sandpiper and a Spoonbill, 8 Ruff, 171 Teal, Sand Martin feeding over and 2 Tufted Duck.

South Lake

Two Mediterranean Gulls and 12 Cattle Egrets, juvenile Little-ringed Plover, 240 Black-tailed Godwit, 10 Redshank, 20 Ruff, Snipe, Garganey, 9 Cormorant, 180 Black-headed Gulls, 70 Teal + Shoveler and Gadwall

Kingfisher Hide

The pair of Kingfishers are still incubating eggs in the nest hole, the third nesting attempt at this site this season with two broods already fledged. We are having a bumper year for this species following recent habitat creation. Garganey with 30 Gadwall in the channel, Reed Bunting, Grey Heron and Buzzard

Estuary Tower

58 Curlew (five colour ringed), feeding on the cut hay area, 4 juvenile Whitethroat and Sedge Warbler in the hedge below, 7 Cranes.

Knott Hide

Juvenile Water Rail and Little Egret + Teal and Gadwall.

Rushy Hide

Two Snipe, 2 Ruff, 6 Redshank, 15 Lapwing.

Tack Piece

3 Spotted Redshank, 7 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Green Sandpiper, 78 Teal, 7 Shoveler.

Middle Point

Great Crested Grebe and 2 Spoonbills in the channel, another flew South past Tites Point towards Sharpness, 87 Curlew (3 colour ringed), single Ringed Plover, juvenile Whitethroat in the reedbed with Reed Warblers/Buntings.
