Award win!
I am pleased to say that last night we won the Sustainable Tourism Award in the Lancashire Tourism Awards. We can now make a submission to be considered for the National Tourism Awards in January and I am really hopeful that we have a good chance of being shortlisted for this.
The award was judged in three main areas - work with the community, how we communicate to our visitors and how green we are as an organisation. It is great to know that all our hard work has been recognised by these awards and I am really proud of everyone at the centre.
