A drake Garganey was on the wader scrape with Shoveler and Gadwall. 31 Avocet look set to start a new colony, we now have two pairs on nests and three more nest building today. 34 Black-tailed Godwit are feeding on the scrape. The Great Crested Grebes are nest building and there are plenty of gull chicks on the islands. An impressive 73 Gadwall are at the Hogarth Hide duck marsh and a Sedge Warbler is singing nest to the hide.
