Bird News

Few reports over the last couple of days, but a pair of Garganey were seen from the new Reedbed Walk today (a male, possibly one of this pair was seen from the Ron Barker hide yesterday).

2 Mediterranean Gulls were on the Mere this morning, as was a single Little Ringed Plover.

In spite of apparent lack of news on this update, there are still large numbers (and variety) of birds on and around the reserve, and a day list of 60 or more species can be acheived without too much difficulty.

Don't forget to pop into the In Focus shop for the latest information and directions as to where to look for any particular species you may be interested in seeing.
