After yesterday's record count, only a single European White-fronted Goose was seen today, although Pink-footed Goose numbers were also low compared to recent figures (however, about 1,000 geese have just dropped in as I write, so tomorrow could be more productive!). The Short-eared Owl was again seen regularly, and 2 Kingfishers, 4 Marsh Harriers, 4 Common Buzzards and 70 Ruff were counted.
