Bright weather and a high tide.

Holden Tower

The high tide just about came over the northern edge of the Dumbles so a great opportunity for some counts.
Whitefronted Goose 38 showing well in the Tack Piece
Canada Goose 640 a massive count for here, not everybody's favourite but they are a useful grazing tool keeping the saltmarsh in good condition.
Barnacle 160
Wigeon 950 were sitting on the top of the tide.
Golden Plover 1200 was probably a bit low as they were so mobile and likely to increase further as the morning go's on.
Lapwing 1750 again probably an undercount because they were so mobile.
