South Lake Still good numbers of Shoveler (56) here but it was the good mixed flock of waders that were wowing everyone. Two pairs of Oystercatcher are now on territory and 10 newly arrived Avocets were resting with 123 Black tailed Godwit. Anything up to

Heavy fog is covering the reserve this morning, making counts very difficult, so we really only have estimates at the moment. The feeding stations and Avenues are still good for small birds, with a Water Rail under the feeders in the Peter Scott Trail. A
