Superb late summer weather again today. Great White Egret on the merse from Saltcot Merse Observatory, where four Ospreys could also be seen yesterday. Peregrine and Merlin are putting in appearances there too. Folly Pond is the best spot otherwise, with

A few new waders have been passing through over the last couple of days, one of the Wood Sandpipers remains albeit distantly from Ron Barker Hide, also at least 40 Ruff, 2 juv Little Ringed Plover, 70-80 Snipe around the reserve, 4 Common Sandpiper, 1 Gre

Garden Warbler
Garden Warbler this morning- M.J.McGill Rushy Pen Hide A juvenile Little Grebe continues to fish the top lake, we only seem them rarely at this site. A few Snipe, Gadwall and Shoveler were also on the top pond. The lower pond held a Common Sandpiper,
