Update Friday 13th May
A male garganey has been sighted feeding on the flood ground, best views from Avenue Tower. Also visible from the Tower are two tardy barnacle geese feeing out on the fields. Today's high tide is at 17:50, 8.2m Around the reserve today: Whooper Pond

Still no Black Terns !!

No Black Terns....
It's May and another day with easterly winds and rain showers and still no Black Terns! This isn't really a complaint as the reserve is packed full of breeding species as well as the current crop of migrating waders, the later making a count of 14 species
