Avocet chicks keep hatching.
Avocets A real feature at the moment and we look set to have our best year ever. Around 50 adults on site and all seem to be either prospecting, incubating or protecting young. Getting difficult to keep track of all the broods but here go's. On the Rush

A new pair of Common Tern were busy trying to find a spot to nest, even checking out the new Tern raft in front of In Focus before before chased off by the nesting Black-headed Gull. At least 2-3 Little Egret continue to be seen most days, a Barn Owl was

New brood of Oystercatchers
Rushy Great here this morning. A brood of 3 Oystercatchers were just a few meters in front of the hide, at least 12 young avocet including 5 almost fledged birds were all over the scrape with 14 adult birds, No sign of Med or Little Gull but keep lookin
