Today's sightings
Holden Tower Hedge and ground feeding birds at dawn included four Blackbird, 4 Chaffinch and a Dunnock. Out on the Dumbles salt marsh and pasture the goose flocks offered Greylag, Canada and Barnacle Geese. Wigeon and Lapwing numbers are increasing here

Bringing life back to the Salt Hill Stream
The Salt Hill Stream in Montem Park, Slough, is teeming with life after the latest release of 1,000 fish, part of a project involving partners from the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, Slough Borough Council, Thames Water and the Environment Agency.

Goosander sighting
Holden Tower Low tide during the hide round period produced a drake Goosander, it was viewable distantly through the murky weather from the tower, it was loafing and preening on one of the low tide pools/creeks. Other birds seen included a flock of 91

Missing Tundra Bean Goose
Rushy Pen At feed times, 0800hrs and 1600hrs the lake is alive with birds. Over 100 Bewick's Swans are on site, most of them can be seen here. The flock dispersed to the road fields, Dumbles and out to the estuary at low tide during late morning/early aft
