Today's sightings- Black Tern
South Lake A Black Tern (see image above) spent the day feeding and resting on the lake. The ten Ruff including the 6 breeding plumaged males were present during the morning at least, up to 175 Black-tailed Godwit fed on the scrape but also moved to Top

Lots of visible migration and Harbour Porpoise!

The day started off brightly with the appearance of 3 Black Terns over the Mere at 10.27am, they didn't stay longer than 50 seconds followed quickly a few minutes later by the arrival of 15 Common Terns, the Common Terns remaining till 16.33 when they lef
