Reserve Update Friday 18th August - Kingfisher
A Kingfisher has been seen fishing in the Back Pond first thing this morning. This will be the second sighting of it this week. Wader and duck numbers are starting to increase around the reserve with 51 Black-tailed Godwit on the Folly Pond fir

Explore the Sea Wall Breach by 4x4 - on 27th September 2017
Take a trip out to explore the new salt marsh and creek system in an area not normally open to the public. Were running 3 trips during the day and spaces are available on the 10-11:30am and the 12-1:30pm trips. The 2-3:30pm trip is already fully booked.

A Curlew Sandpiper joined the Dunlin flock on Vinson's Marsh this morning. The Little Stint was still present in the same area with plenty of opportunity to hide in the undergrowth. Another record count of Black-tailed Godwit with c.1400 birds present. Ot
