Intruder male still about

Intruder male still about

Today the female osprey has been doing all the incubation herself and just before 1pm she became quite agitated and the unringed intruder male flew in and tried in vain to mate with her, she quickly shoo'd him off the nest. Then later at just after 2.30p

Still looks like 2 eggs and male osprey taking his turn on the nest

  Looking through the recorded footage again it looks as though we had a visit from the other male osprey on Saturday the 21st at 1.15pm, it was the unringed bird that has been hanging around the nest for a few days. He tried to mate with the female
