Quite cold today, just about sub-zero and still pretty waterlogged in the avenues; wellingtons are necessary in order to access Campbell Hide and Avenue Tower. Plenty of Lapwing and Golden Plover in the fields affording close views, along with good flocks

The recent storms have moved on through bringing calmer brighter weather today, though there is a lot of residual water in the avenues. up to a foot deep. Visitors without snorkels and flippers should at least wear wellingtons as the wider access hides
