Wildlife Sightings for 9th October 2023

Skylark, Siskin, Redwing and more flying over the site heading west. A Red-Crested pochard on the reservoir lagoon.

9 October 2023

2 Redwing near south route feeders. 1 Stonechat on the marsh. Large numbers of Wood Pigeon on site and flying over.

8 October 2023

Multiple Skylark flying over north-west. Plenty of Chiffchaff around wildside and Hobby on the marsh

7 October 2023

Red-Crested Pochard still on the reservoir lagoon. Sparrowhawk on the wader scrape and Kestrel over the sheltered lagoon.

6 October 2023

A Red-Crested Pochard on the reservoir lagoon. 2 Songthrush flying over the site, and 20+ Meadow Pipit flying westward.

5 October 2023

50+ Meadow Pipit, Redpolls and Siskins flying over the site. 7 Snipe, Skylark and Stonechat on the grazing marsh.

4 October 2023

Great White Egret moving around on site. Little Grebe on the wader scrape.

A Water Rail in the reedbeds. 7 Snipe on the marsh. 2 Willow Warbler in the sheltered lagoon.

Martins over and 30+ Teal on the wader scrape.

Little Egret on the wader scrape. Lots of Shoveler and Gadwall on site.

A Common Sandpiper on the main lake. 3 Little Egrets on the wader scrape. 82 Pochard on the main lake.

A Little Egret and a Common Sandpiper on the grazing marsh. Kingfisher in wildside.

Two Water Rail in the reedbeds. A Sparrowhawk along the south route.
