WarblersA good scattering of warblers around the site today. Always good when your day starts with a Garden Warbler, also Lesser whitethroat, blackcap willow sedge reed and lots of chiffchaff. Good spots to search are Knott hide, decoy and car park.South

A juvenile Wood Sandpiper was on the wader scrape at the South Lake this morning.

The tide this morning peaked around 9am, with birds coming in to roost on the Top New Piece but many of the larger waders staying out on the river.
