Cranes and other sightings
Crane - 6 flying towards the visitor centre from the East, went towards the South end of the reserve (Summer walk/Reedbed hide) The photo above is of the five cranes yesterday taken by Roger Rawson.

Our first Wetland Bird Survey (WeBS count) will be undertaken in October, at this point we will be able to give an update on wildfowl numbers across the whole reserve.
