Curlew Sandpipers
More waders in today with a good count of 6 Curlew Sandpiper. Other arrivals included 6 Dunlin, Avocet and 9 Ringed Plover that went west.

The Pink-footed Goose count reached 300 by mid morning although no further arrivals were obvious by late afternoon.
Raptors included 5+ Common Buzzard, 4 Kestrel, Sparrowhawk and Marsh Harrier. A Hobby was seen over Woodend Marsh late yesterday and a probable Osprey was too distant for 100% certainty.
Other counts included 6 Little Grebe and 35 Gadwall.
