Donate £40 without spending a penny
WWT talks with all sorts of businesses to encourage environmentally friendly working.
One of these businesses; Triodos Bank, is offering a free donation of £40 to WWT’s wetland conservation if you open an account with them and deposit at least £100. The donation won’t cost you a penny.
So that you can trust Triodos to only lend your money ethically, they publish a list of organisations they lend to. These are organisations that, like WWT, aim to make a difference to people and the planet – like organic farmers, healthcare providers and fair trade food suppliers.
So, basically, you get to donate money to WWT, and invest in other ethical organisations at the same time: a double win for caring for our planet!
By working with businesses in this way, we aim to help you to help all of us protect the natural environment on which we all rely. And with more species than almost any other habitat, wetlands are a great place to start. A little money can make a huge splash!
