Drying up, a bit
We have been working hard to get the site dry again after the recent heavy rain. You should be able to access the whole site in walking boots, but there are still some puddles around so wellies could be useful.
It's great to finally have the sun shining and the flooded fields are full of birds. Lapwing, Golden Plover and Curlew numbers are very high at the moment, with the Golden Plover starting to get their black bellies.
Still good numbers of Barnacle Geese on the reserve and Whooper Swan's at the feeds.
