First Egg Laid?
This morning the female osprey was sitting well down in the nest but it was difficult to see if she had an egg when she stood up as the nest cup is so deep. At about 10.30am the male osprey with the yellow ring 08 came in with a fish and she flew off to eat it. He examined the nest cup and stood very carefully in it. Then we lost the live images from the nest. Hopefully we will have the pictures back soon so we can see what is happening. It looks like our yellow ringed male has won the day from the unringed usurper yesterday. he is probably going to be the daddy! What timimg! More news soon
