South Lake Hides

Four Mediterranean Gulls again this morning, although the pair do not look as though they have yet laid any eggs.  Also of note were 16 Tufted Duck, an Oystercatcher, 20 Shelduck, a Great Crested Grebe and a Little Grebe.

Zeiss Hide

The Black-tailed Godwit flock was just 74 birds this morning.  Also on the scrape were 21 Avocet.  In the reedbed near the hide are singing Reed Warbler, Reed Bunting and Sedge Warbler.  Duck included 4 drake Shoveler and 26 Shelduck.

Holden Tower

A total of 74 Avocet and a pair Oystercatcher were on the Dumbles scrape whilst out on the saltmarsh were 18 Shelduck with a Peregrine to the south.

Kingfisher Hide

A pair of Little Grebe were on the pond in front of the hide.  Out on the Bottom New Piece were 3 Redshank.  The reedbed near the hide held singing Reed Warbler and Reed Bunting.

Rushy Hide

An Egyptian Goose was in front of the Peng Observatory this morning.  The pair of Cranes were present along with 2 Lapwing and 4 Avocet.
