Goosander, Yellow-browed Warbler and more

Looking good for next Saturday and Sunday, 'Wild Wader Weekend' see https://www.wwt.org.uk/wetland-centres/slimbridge/...

Sunday 13 October

Some typical autumn birds about, the last of the passage migrants and winter visitors appearing.

A female Goosander (pictured) on the Tack Piece flew out to the Severn.

A Yellow-browed Warbler was heard in the vicinity of the Spinney Wood yesterday, it was again seen and heard calling again today at least twice. It called and showed in the Sallows and weeping willow on the East side of the Spinney Wood (near perimeter gate to South Finger), if searching it's also worth looking along the ditch, the trees between here and Living Wetland Theatre, Canoe Trail and North American Pen as well as the South Finger path as it's very mobile with the tit flock/Treecreepers/Goldcrests and Chiffchaffs.
