Great sightings

A great day for sightings with one of the highlights being a Great White Egret seen out on the Hundred Acre fields during the Land Rover Safaris.  The safaris have also given excellent views of Hobby all day and a Redstart was seen on the route.  Otherwise it has been another busy day for Reserve Staff and Volunteers.  You'll notice we've been topping the vegetation in some of the fields to get them ready for the arrival of our winter birds over the next few weeks and months.  We apologise for the short term disturbance, but visit us this winter and you'll see the benefits!
