Pair of Shoveler, pair of  Teal, 7 Gadwall, pair of Great Crested Grebe, 120 pairs of Black-headed Gull,  84 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 male Ruff, 11 Avocet, pair of Oystercatcher plus broods of Greylag Geese.

A Great White Egret flew out of the duck marsh and was mobbed by Herring Gulls as it flew across to the grounds.

The Lapwing pair hatched two chicks yesterday but were seen mating again today, a second female is present. Crane pair Monty and Sedge have laid an egg on one the lower pond islands. Three pairs of Avocet are on nests with c10 birds in total. 10+ pairs of Black-headed Gull are nesting.

The three White Wagtails seen yesterday were still present on the field, a Ringed Plover also feeding on the edges of the flood. Pairs of Tufted Duck, Shoveler and 7 male Gadwall were on the scrape with c20 Shelduck scattered about.

60+ Avocet, pair of Oystercatcher on the scrape. Bar-tailed Godwit and a Curlew on the Dumbles edge over high tide.

12 Teal, 7 Gadwall, 5 Shoveler, 20 Shelduck, 6 Lapwing and 20 Avocet. Singing Reed Warblers.
