Greenland White-front

Starting the day with fairly murky conditions with rain showers and a westerly wind. A Greenland White-fronted Goose was found with Pink-footed Geese on Sunley's Marsh this morning. It's likely that this is the same bird seen yesterday at Marshside RSPB.

The passing showers are, of course, excellent for dropping birds and after yesterday's Curlew Sandpiper in similar conditions, a Little Stint on Sunley's Marsh was also welcome.

Buzzard drying out

The usual raptors with 4+ Buzzard, 2+ Marsh Harrier, Peregrine, 2 Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.

Other sightings include Water Rail on Vinson's Marsh.
