Hedgerows in Bloom
While the Hawthorn may have finished flowering, the Dog and Guelder roses have taken over the mantle and are providing colour to the hedgerows down to the Peter Scott Observatory. The Hedgerows are also alive with the sound of young birds calling for their parents to feed them. Blue Tit, Great Tit, Song Thrush and Chaffinch youngsters are now all out the nest. The Swallows in the Teal Pond hide have chicks in the nest. It really is the day for baby things with a Roe Deer and her kid out in the Meadow.
