A second and third calendar year Mediterranean Gull, 135 Black-headed Gull (52 pairs), 2 Little and a single Great Crested Grebe, at least one Little-ringed Plover, 44 Avocet (joined by the Top New Piece flock later), 13 Red Knot, a Sisonin on the beach with Goldfinches, 29 Shoveler, a drake Pochard, Little Egret plus Tufted Duck, Cormorant, Greylag and Canada Geese, Teal and Oystercatchers.

Top New Piece

Three Ruff, adult Spoonbill (until fog cleared), Little Egret, 72 Avocet (movede to South Lake), nesting Lapwing, 123 Black-tailed Godwit, 27 Wigeon, 12 Shoveler and a dozen Teal.

Estuary Tower

Foggy this morning but singing Willow Warbler in the bushes below the hide, 200+ Russian White-fronted Geese on the Dumbles, 7 Curlew, Little-ringed Plover, 3 Snow Geese, 2 Pink-footed Geese flew past, Pintail, 17 Shoveler, 21 Teal.

Tack Piece

Three Snow Geese from mid morning, Little Grebe (unusual here), the Spoonbill was sleeping mid morning but also flying around at times, 4 Pintail,, 100+ Wigeon.
