Latest Sightings - Friday 14th December - Some internet connection back, but no card payments or webcams yet

We apologise for the lack of recent sightings updates, we have been experiencing problems with our internet connection.

Although we are now able to make website updates, we are still unable to take card payments in the Centre, so if you plan to visit before Christmas, please bring cash with you to avoid disappointment.

Our webcams are not yet back online but we hope to have our full service back before 21st December.

Swan numbers are creeping up, likely due to the colder weather, with over 110 on the reserve each day. We have also seen excellent numbers of Lapwing, Golden Plover, Black-tailed Godwit and Curlew on the reserve.

Barnacle Goose numbers have also remained higher than normal for this time of year, with up to 10,000 regularly seen in the area.
