Lots of raptor activity!
Two peregrines were seen displaying from the Avenue Tower yesterday which was very exciting to watch! A merlin and a hen harrier have also been sighted across the reserve.
It's been lovely to see all of the usual suspects enjoying the sunshine this morning. Skylarks are busy singing in the fields surrounding the Saltcot Merse observatory. The little stint is present again in the Lochar Field today. Black-headed gulls can be heard from almost every point of the reserve and have made for a very noisy morning!
