The Wild Walk, a family favourite at Martin Mere, now has an extra adventure with a new play area for children to enjoy.
The Wild Walk offers a place for children to get out and have fun exploring nature, with muddy meadows, wetland tracks, and one of the world’s largest bug hotels at an impressive 18.63 cubic metres in size.
The new play area which opened this week is an adventure in itself! Test your balance on the balance weaver and balance beam, take on the swinging steps, and brave the rickety bridge.
Victoria Fellowes, Deputy Centre Manager, said: “We are excited to open this new addition of our popular Wild Walk. The area really is a hidden gem and offers families the chance to explore, learn, and discover the nature around them. Let your children run wild - just remember the wellies!”
