Oystercatchers on Eggs
Our Oystercatcher pair on the Teal Pond raft are now down on eggs. At least one egg has been seen so far but if you happen to catch sight of any more while visiting then please do let us know. Small bird activity around the site is really picking up. It is lovely to see so many Goldfinches around, along with all the newly returning warblers. The wildflowers around the reserve are really coming into their own with Red Campion, Bluebells and Celandine providing colour while Wild Garlic provides a certain aroma to the Avenue! Over the past few years we have been doing some renovation works on our Wildlife Garden.
