Pumpkin Carving 27-28 OctArundel Wetland Centre is naturally creepy this October half-term

Carve a jack-o-lantern, meet a real batman and discover hair-raising tarantulas at Arundel Wetland Centre this October half term. Families will also enjoy daily pond dipping and weekday creepy crafts to keep the kids entertained.

On Sat 27 Oct & Sun 28 Oct families can take a 30 minute Pumpkin Carving workshop to make and take home a spooky jack-o-lantern in time for Halloween. Staff  do the dirty work by removing the seeds and innards. They show you the tricks, and the treats, on how to make your pumpkin really pop!

The Professor Bones Show is back from Mon 29 Oct – Fri 2 Nov. With the professor you examine the skulls of animals and birds to discover what kind of lives they lead! On Wed 31 Oct meet WWT Arundel’s Batman, Paul Stevensto discover where and how bats live, how to see them.

Half term wraps up with the Webtastic Weekend on Nov 3&4. Spider experts Ray and Angela (Tarangela)  Hale are back with their collection of tarantulas! Ray reveals Britain’s Top 10 spiders in the Sand Piper theatre each afternoon.
