Quick update, Monday April 3rd
Some Sand Martins hawking over The Folly Pond just now and our first singing Willow Warbler near The Peter Scott Observatory this morning. There are just a few Whooper Swans remaining (four first thing, eleven yesterday; the formal swan feeds are finished now until October 1st). Lots of Redshank on The Folly Pond, and a Green-winged Teal. There's a good broadcast of Barnacle Geese yet, up to 8000 daily, though many of them can be quite distant out on the merses.
Osprey action at last, live on CCTV in the main visitor centre... come along and follow events over a cup of delicious coffee
