Slimbridge Wetland Centre is opening its doors to a fresh spring event celebrating new life, with up close animal encounters for the whole family.
Taking place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th May, the Really Wild Weekend Spring Special is being run with Blue Peter featured the Exotic Zoo and is a chance to get up close to new spring life.
Gary Haseley-Nejrup from Slimbridge Wetland Centre said:
“We are busy getting ready to welcome all the new spring life to the centre, including lots of cuddly and not so cuddly little things, their siblings and parents too. The amazing Exotic Zoo are with us for just one weekend and regularly feature on popular kids TV show Blue Peter!”
As well as the Really Wild Weekend with dedicated talks and up close encounters, visitors can enjoy a full day in the grounds which are bursting to life. You are guaranteed an action packed family day out at Slimbridge looking out for wildlife finds along the way! Take part in an Amphibian session, an Otter talk or even take a Canoe Safari!
