Recent sightings - 15th June
The following sightings were recorded today by Toni Castello, warden, near high tide. We find more and more signs that we approach a peak in life in our way towards the summer, with a clear growth in wildfowl chicks, and the flowering of thousands of plants. Some of the latter, such as the Common spotted orchids, have just appeared in the margins of some of our ponds, as well as in some grassland patches, creating nice beauty spots.
