Highlights include Willow Tit, Mediterranean Gull and Peacock butterfly

The 3 Spoonbill continue to be seen regularly feeding on the saline lagoons, as well as Redshank, Pintail, Little Egret, Greylag Goose, Shoveler, Wigeon and Lapwing.

On the Freshwater lagoon have been Shoveler, Teal, Shelduck, Black-tailed Godwit, and hidden in a flock of Black-headed Gulls was a Mediterranean Gull so keep an eye out!

Millennium Wetlands

Recently seen on the reserve include Black-tailed Godwit, Little Grebe, Shoveler, Pochard, Tufted Duck, Shelduck, and today on the Lilly pond the female Goldeneye has been seen in good view. Good numbers of Lapwing can still be seen on deep water lake on the cockleshell islands from the screens along the center path. A pair of Willow Tits have been spotted along the northern loop while carrying out surveys on site, and around the reserve has been Goldcrest, Treecreeper, Reed Bunting and Bullfinch. Other wildlife spotted around the reserve includes Peacock butterfly, and a Slow Worm warming themself up.
